I love Norwegian food, specially the dishes my grandmother used to make me. In an area called St. Hanshaugen north to the city centre in Oslo, you find a restaurant called Schrøder. This is not a fancy restaurant, maybe the opposite, but the food is good and the prices are low. They serve simple, but tasteful, traditional dishes to low prices. You will also find a selection of Oslo's actors and artists here, eating fish and meatballs. Adress: Waldemar thranes gate 8
