One of my favourite spots in Oslo is Ekebergåsen. The famous Norwegian painter Edvard Munch was inspired to paint his master piece “The Scream” here. If you visit Ekebergåsen you’ll find out why. The view is fantastic!
Take train 19 to Ljabru and get off at Sjømannskolen. The trip with the tram itself is worth the effort! It only takes you about 10 minutes from the central station.
From Sjømannskolen at Ekebergåsen you have a terrific view over the city. This can also be a very romantic location especially during the summer time at sun set:-)
