Sagene is a great area in Oslo and I have been living there for several years. The main sight there is Sagene church. It is located in Dannevigsveien 17 and it is a beautiful church from 1891. If you are not that interested in churches and religion, you can find lovely cafès around there, where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun! Additionally, I love being in one of the parks in the summertime, having barbeque or even trying snowboarding in the winter! Ok, the hill are miniature hills, but if it is your first time… ;) If you want to buy fresh fruit or vegetables, Sagene Torg is the place to go! Nice people working there and reasonable prices! Just take bus no. 34, 37 or 54 to Sagene!
