On a nice, sunny Oslo day, I love to go to Sognsvann, a lake at the end of the underground line 3. There are always a lot of locals going for a walk with their children and dogs. In the wintertime there are also a lot of cross country skiing possibilities, while you will find people picking berries and mushrooms in the autumn. In the summertime, you can buy coffee, waffles and ice cream at the small kiosk by the lake and sit down on one of the benches around the water, enjoying the sun, the beautiful and looking at the people walking around. If it’s getting too warm you can also have a bath in the lake! It takes about an hour to walk around the lake, just be careful in the winter, it is normally pretty icy up there!
