Last week,on my day off,my daughter and I decided to do something nice, and since the weather was good, we packed some lunch and took the ferry out to the small islands in the Oslofjord. The ferry was full of schoolkids and they all got off at Hovedøya, but we stayed on and continued a bit further out, to Nakholmen, one of the islands with summer cabins owned by many lucky people. So we took a walk, played a little on the beach and in the water. It was way too cold for my taste. After having our lunch, ice cream and a rest in the sun, we went back to the city, and took the tram up to the Vigelandpark.A great place for kids, as it has a big playing area and many statues which are fun to watch, especially the Angry boy. We had a great day in the sun and we were pretty tired on the way home. The next day, it was back to work - and it was raining! I wonder what I should do on my next day off?!
