Yesterday I wnt to the Natural History Museum in Tøyen, after having watched an interesting documentary on NRK on Ida, the "new" fossil that Jørn Hurum of the University of Oslo has recently studied and presented to the scientific community, the media and the public as "the Link".
The area of the Natural History Museum is quite big, with the Botanical garden, the Geological and the Zoological museum. The whole area takes you a little bit back in time, because of its buildings and the serious exhibitions that they host.
I was glad to see that many families with children where visiting the exhibition called "Can we forgive Darwin?" at the Zoological Museum. "Ida the Link" is the big star of the exhibition, but there are plenty of things to see both at the Zoological Museum and at the Geological/Paleontological Museum!
