Oslo Pass: Free public transport

Free public transport with
the Oslo Pass

The Oslo Pass gives you unlimited free travel by bus, tram, underground, boat and local train with Ruter AS and NSB (Norwegian State Railways), within zones 1 and 2. The Oslo Pass is valid for travel to e.g. Lillestrøm (east), Ski (south) or Asker (west).

This is how far the Oslo Pass takes you:

Night buses

The night buses run between 1 am and 4 am Saturdays and Sundays. The Oslo Pass can be used on night buses in zones 1 and 2.

The Oslo Pass can be used on the boats to Bygdøy (ferry to the Bygdøy museums), to the islands in the Oslo Fjord, or to Asker and Nesodden.

Please not that Oslo Pass holders have free transport to Drøbak by bus, but not by boat. This is because the bus stop is located within zone 2, while the ferry is in zone 4.

Tusenfryd amusement park

Oslo Pass holders have free transport to Tusenfryd amusement park (bus no. 500) as it is located within zone 2.

Transportation to the airport

The Oslo Pass is not valid for transportation to Oslo Airport Gardermoen, as the airport is located outside zone 2. Please note that the transportation with Flytoget (airport express train) or Flybussen is not included in the Oslo Pass.

The airports of Torp and Rygge are located far from Oslo and are not available with local public transport.
