Miniøya is Norway’s biggest festival for kids, where both established artists and up-and-coming talents perform over a period of two days in June. Tøyenparken is once again filled with music, theatre, dance, literature, workshops and fun activities for the whole family.

The programme for 2018 is not yet final, but Maya Vik, Sondre Lerche, Ida Maria, Datarock, Meg og Kammeraten min (with The Norwegian Radio Orchestra) and Hkeem are all confirmed to play.

You can get tickets for any of the days (Saturday or Sunday), as well as a pass giving access to both days of the festival. Children under the age of two attend the festival for free.

About the festival

2018 marks the ninth year of Miniøya. The festival aims to provide a quality cultural offering for children. Previous years have included artists such as Madcon, Cezinando, Donkeyboy and Silya.

The festival is meant mainly for children between the ages 4-12. The max age for people not accompanying children is 16. Miniøya also has an environmental focus, and a great selection of healthy and local eco-food, drinks and snacks can be purchased at the festival.
