Miniøya is Norway’s biggest festival for kids, where both established artists and up-and-coming talents perform. For two days in June, Tøyenparken is filled with music, theatre, dance, literature, workshops and fun activities for the whole family.

You can get tickets for one of the days (Saturday or Sunday), or a festival pass giving access to both days of the festival. Children under the age of two attend the festival for free.

About the festival

2019 marks the tenth year of Miniøya. The festival aims to provide a quality cultural offering for children. Previous years have included artists such as Madcon, Cezinando, Donkeyboy and Silya.

The festival is meant mainly for children aged 4–12. The maximum age for people not accompanying children is 16. Miniøya has an environmental focus, and a great selection of healthy and local eco food, drinks and snacks can be purchased at the festival.
