What do Norwegians eat at Christmas?

Popular Norwegian Christmas dinners include ribbe (pork ribs or pork belly, bone in), lutefisk (cod cured in lye) and pinnekjøtt (dry-cured ribs of lamb).

Many Norwegians like to enjoy a juleøl ("Christmas beer") with the food - a malty beer that normally is available from November. And of course: Make sure to sample the world-famous gløgg, available at most Christmas markets and other gatherings throughout December.
