Most of the cinemas are operated by Nordisk Film Kino, but the 14-screen cinema at Storo is part of ODEON. In addition Cinemateket screens classics and independent films. Kunstnernes Hus Cinema has specialised in high-quality films and insightful documentaries.
Films are normally screened in original versions with Norwegian subtitles. Norwegian films are generally not subtitled. Please note that features for children may be dubbed in Norwegian.
