What's the best thing about Oslo, according to you?
I love how there is so much happening in Oslo. There’s always a concert, a show or an event going on. I especially love how close we are to nature. The fact that you don’t have to travel further than with a local bus or the metro to get to the forest is something I cherish deeply. It is a unique thing for a capital or big city to be this ingrained with nature.
Do you have a favourite museum?
Anytime I get to visit The Museum of Science and Technology is a great day. They have so many gadgets, things to fidget with, buttons to press, and things lots to learn. The basement floor is my favourite, because there are so many experiments you can do there, so you get to learn and have fun! They also regularly have temporary exhibits, so there’s always something new to discover there. My favourite was their temporary exhibit on the history and development of video games through history.

Where in Oslo do you go to find excitement, to feel alive?
In the summer I love taking a trip to Høyt & Lavt to climb up in the trees. It’s very exciting to challenge myself with the climbing, feel the adrenaline of being so far up in the trees, and then zipline back down! In the winter, I like to toboggan down Korketrekkeren. Every trip downhill, I try to break less and less, and I get more and more bold with each trip. You really feel in control of the elements when rushing down the ice and snow.

Anything else you would like to recommend?
As a drag artist, I highly recommend catching a drag show or two when you’re in Oslo. There are more and more concepts showing up everywhere, so you won’t have to search for too long before finding something, whether it’s a weekday or the weekend. SALT, Café MIR, London, Blitz, Syng Grünerløkka and Goldie are some of the venues that regularly host drag shows, drag hosted bingo, karaoke, quiz, and music bingo, and other drag related events. Many Norwegian drag artists are very alternative and creative in their drag, as well as glittery and glamorous, so you will always get a unique experience and have a good time!
