List of Honorary Ambassadors

On Friday, 13 March, 15 new honorary ambassadors were recognized for their significant contributions to Oslo’s international conference scene. In the prestigious Rococo Hall at Grand Hotel, Oslo Convention Bureau hosted a formal ceremony as part of its Ambassador Program, where Mayor Anne Lindboe personally presented diplomas to key individuals from Norwegian academic and research communities, institutions, and organizations.

These individuals have not only been instrumental in bringing an international congress within their field of expertise to Oslo but have also played a crucial role in strengthening the city’s position as a leading host destination. As honorary ambassadors, they are recognised for their dedication to promoting their respective fields globally – and for elevating Oslo as a hub for knowledge exchange and innovation.

All members of the Oslo Ambassador Network have contributed to positioning Oslo as an attractive conference city, either by hosting or applying for international events. Their efforts are invaluable, and they proudly carry the title of Oslo Ambassadors.
